I have 225 on the back now which feels better than 235 but handling still not great.

Still on 215 fronts? If so you now have too little rear rubber so need to decrease those fronts.. either a 205 or to maintain the factory 30mm difference a 195. The car is more neutral (IMO) with a 20mm difference but of course arguably safer with the 30mm.
If you want to see the effects on the sidewalls of the fitting check the third from last picture in my garage. Same rims all round (15x7) and look how the rear sidewall (225) has much more of a curve to it in comparison to the front (205).
It's beautiful to drive.
