 Bloody autocorrect.

I am still 39 btw and realise that the moment I hit 40 I won't be able to do anything anymore. Can I just check, will I be okay to go a trackday this weekend or am I too old. Or maybe I should check that they will let me into JAE this year? Obviously if I'm too old then my life's over. ;)

Vast difference between going on a trackday and also to Jae than going to Krispy Kreme car park and showing of for a bunch of kids Lauren.

Is it? Don't you get twenty somethings at trackdays and loads of people this age at JAE? So, not seeing all that much difference really.

Mike, I'm not ageist when it comes to car enthusiasts. I often get asked by kids in the streets where I work about the car. I'm quite happy to talk to them, no problem. Likewise with someone in their twenties. Should I only talk to people who are a similar age to myself? Is that what you mean? Is there a minimum age with which I should grace my presence?

I didn't realise there were actual rules to all this, but if I can learn from you, I'd be grateful. :+:

Tom (Icunonsove) has been very busy today:

Tom, now has the small mission to find the correct pipe and fittings and somewhere to bend it so he can plumb it all in as it's a bit of a job requiring the lines to go above the starter and run back to the bulkhead and round.

Very nice. Although bet he was a little gutted at the mis-pitched hole he started! I'm actually quite liking that plan for mine though now!!

I'd like a breakdown Lauren

Time in the AE86 driving it
Time outside of the AE86 looking at it
Time working on the AE86 making it work
Time washing/polishing AE86
Time taken taking photo's of AE86 and posting online

LOL!

In descending order:
Taking photo's of AE86 and posting online
In the AE86 driving it
washing/polishing AE86
working on the AE86 making it work
outside of the AE86 looking at it

To be fair it is taking up a lot of time at the moment, but there's a rush on to get sorted for Angers on Saturday and obviously all the body/rust treatment being done, just so it doesn't rust to pieces over the winter.

In time, hopefully things will die down a bit! Tom is busy scouring far and wide as we speak looking for fittings so he can sort the oil cooler!

Wow, so you've actually spent more time washing it than driving it.

What the hell happened to you Lauren!

Steady on Matt! ;)

I will have a look. Tbh the detailing going on at the moment seems to be still focused on the mechanical, though it would be great to detail it now it's out of the bodyshop. If you fancy having a go at JAE you are more than welcome. Beer tokens provided of course. :+:

In the midst of trying to fit this blimming oil cooler.

So far got the manifold off so Tom can get in there and get the fittings sorted. He's busy with a grinder at the moment modifying one of the fittings.

I know, not brilliant when I think about it. Just showing what we had to remove, before we have to put it all back on again!
