That steering wheel design is genius, who'd have thought they'd stop using it? :D

Ooh, let me know if you do head down, I'm sure I could time one of my many visits to Pete accordingly :)

Also, you're you can have a poke around my AE111 Trueno if you like - have you driven a black-top 4A-GE?

Damn, picked the weekend I am in Berlin, so will have to miss this, otherwise would have brought the MR2 out for its first spin this year.

GPWM, I think Lauren should be able to find a blue one to replace it with. :-k

Altho brown will hide the inevitable marks left by the dog.

 Ergonomic perfection.

Although no space for an airbag in it. Damn car safety legislation!

Ironically, I would now rather have newer standard cars.

I wont be quite as forceful of my opinion as Lauren has historically been though  :thumleft:

Seen that red Trueno ad. Trouble is the interior makes it a no go, I mean brown and red what they thinking?

Celica is okay, but I want an AE86 nothing else will do.

Showing your age there pal.

I prefer modified old school motors and I'm 29

The only relatively new motors I could bring myself to replace the MR2 with would be an Evo 7 or a 55 plate Impreza STi.

Nothing else really floats the old boat.

Well a good standard car is great, but I want to go and live the dream, so I am looking at lightly modded 86's as a standard one in this case isn't going to cut it.

Modding is a mugs game, but inherently enjoyable.

The thing about modding is that most people go beyond making their car better and end up making it worse. But they totally believe that what they have done is to make it better than the manufacturer could have done.

That's a great big #-o one of those for me.

Although I admit, if it was economically viable I would go for a S/C conversion on mine

TAAN.
(They Are All Nails).

No escaping the nail thing really!

Have heard back from Miguel. He reckons he can source me the kind of car I'm looking for, but a 3 month wait and a deposit would put all my eggs in one basket. Decisions!
