sure there's a big write up on this car on here somewhere mate, i just put mr2 celica headlight conversion and this was the first thing that came up

Re: celica headlight conversion
That's
"projectprelude" off here.
Think he had a build thread in member profiles

Re: celica headlight conversion
cheers for the help men much thanks
thats what i was after

Re: celica headlight conversion
I have nearly completed this conversion, just adding the lacquer to car is left.

I would post a picture of the front when i had finished priming but sadly because i never really post on this forum i am not allowed.

Its very very time consuming though, took me a long time!!

Re: celica headlight conversion
know what you mean its a pain!!i am indeed expecting a few head scratching moments cant be any worse than fitting the cage tho!all i was really after was to know how much structural stuff needs cut out of the inner wing and slam panel
Re: celica headlight conversion
I will update my project thread of mr2oc soon and will included the pictures of how much was removed e.t.c when i do that.

But lot of slam panel inner wing and bonnet has to be removed.

There is honestly a lot of angle grinding to do, and once thats done and the lights are in i spent weeks and weeks filling and sanding.

Re: celica headlight conversion
im used to cutting bits away now already lost the whole boot floor and bulkhead doors are empty!aye the lights look a tricky one but im sure ile come at it some photos would be good tho much appreciated
Re: celica headlight conversion
If you put in
"celica headlight conversion" into the search and click
"search for all terms" it throws up a few hits.
An interesting read anyway
-one set of threads seemed to turn into a bun fight with the mods anyway.

.
.
.Allot of work involved so fair play to those done it.
Not my taste at all but fair doos.

Re: celica headlight conversion
ile have a scan at that cheers aye its not something i really thought about in the past had quad lights but fancied something a bit diffrent its on a racing car anyway so it will prob end up getting wrapped round a post or bent in some way
Re: celica headlight conversion
If it's on a track car then is it worth the hassle?
Better time and money spent on other things on an SW20 in my mind.

Re: celica headlight conversion
just for the fun of it really got all the other bits sorted out so just though i would do something that doesn't cost a fortune for a change
