Manifold and Turbo nuts

can you reuse the manifold and turbo nuts? Just been on the fensport site and they are £3.60 each for the manifold nut and £1.80 for the turbo nut!! thats £40 alone just on Nuts!!! Surely people dont replace them everytime they remove the manifold???

If they are seized onto the studs i would replace them

I paid under £18 for a full set of exhaust manifold studs and nuts.

you can reuse them but i liked to replace with new

Ideally you should use new ones. They're whats called "k-nuts", the top of the nut is slightly crushed/oval shaped. This then bites onto the thread preventing it from coming loose.

However, once they're taken off the crush part is opened up and doesn't bite as well as it did first time around.

Could you not use Spring washers?
