[Mk2] [Turbo] japspeed exhaust

Post by IanB »

Hi, I have just fitted a decat downpipe and japspeed exhaust, it sounds great when accelerating but when i let off to change gear or slow down, I get a terrible vibration that shakes through the whole car. has anyone else had this problem if so is there a way round it, or is it a case of changing the exhaust, if so what system do you suggest. It sounds like the exhaust is touching the body of the car somewhere. This is caused as the engine rocks and causes the contact.

A bracket will probably need a tweek to cure it.

Thanks for the help. I got it back up on ramps today. The exhaust was touching the crossmember. Heat gun, hammer and a slight tweek of the bracket. Sorted. Sounds awesome now :thumleft: \:D/
