Check with the affilliates mate. Rogue did my swap although it was a manual. You should be able to pick up an auto red top for better money than a manual -pretty much everyone I've seen have converted auto boxes to manual so there might be more (relatively speaking) specific auto boxes knocking about out there.

I had mine done a few years ago now, price doesn't hold these days. Patrick Mortell put me in touch with Tom Solan at NVI who had a complete SW20 package from a front ended import. The best way to do it is to source a complete set-up otherwise the price spirals with the separate parts needed.

i've been on the hunt for a beams setup for ages, i don't want an ecu or even the intakes but i do need a complete engine with exhaust manifold.

i keep finding heads with no block or intakes and nothing else... i just want an engine, don't even need the intake manifold for my project. could even survive without the loom if all the sensors etc were still on the engine.

any ideas on where to get one? after a redtop if possible.

Have you driven a beams engined car? I have, and was very disappointed. Maybe worth trying to do a test drive before forking out lots of money on a conversion...
