You need a rev3 timing belt mate

- I'm doing the exact same conversion and have been working on the car over the last couple of days.

I've messed around all day today trying to get the rev1/2 belt to fit but it's too long.

A rev3 belt has 1 tooth less

! I've just spent 2 hours on the crank pulley bolt getting it undone as I'd used loctite on it last time

- foolish

! Tomorrows job

- fit a rev3 belt and carry on

You will also need to cut off the pipe support from the rev2 coolant pipes

( it's on the metal pipes around the back of the block

(coolant elbow corner)) as the bracket will stop the exhaust manifold going on
