WELL yes I am ........ but to be fair my badly recived humor was actually ...... "anti grumppyness humor"

It seamed to me rightly or wrongly someone made a constructive surgestion.....& most comments gave reasons why we shouldnt do it.......

not really very helpfull, this is suposed to be a "suport" type forum isnt it,.....

I supose now as most people will dissagree with me I should expect a barrage of incoming....oh joy

voted for in a poll by the members, the winners pics/details are displayed for a month until the next poll takes place
plenty of other forums doing it and i think it would be a good addition to imoc :thumleft:
we do somet like this on the supra owners club its a good idea.

What is wrong with you guys, lol.

It's a fab idea, something needs to be done! It's just bland at the mo as though it needs to move with the times, whatever you choose someone is always going to be Mr Negative about it, seems to be more and more though around here.

Doesn't even have to be MR2 of the month but maybe just MR2 pic of the month so it can be a pic of an engine bay or a even an inside mod someone's done. It's good to see what others have done and show off!

What's the harm in that at all? Don't be so negative guys!!! :thumleft:

At the moment our focus is on getting the new forum sorted, bug free and up and running. This type of thing is likely to be launched with the new forum.
The ideas aren't being ignored, all ideas are in the pot for the new forum.
There will be other new things too.

Not really...question in itself wasn't actually sarcastic...the tumbleweed was.

Did actually want a decent answer for timescale though, such as when these competitions are starting and so on as would be nice to have one done by the time it's up ready for the new site.

At the moment we do not have a timescale for the launch of the site, we want to make sure everything is ok, to avoid hacking, loopholes and other such items. So we can't answer your question.

Its not avoiding the issue, its just we do not know yet.

But we will keep everyone updated!

There's nothing to stop you arranging the competition yourself. Put together a post in this section or Off topic to gather interest and see what occurs :thumleft:

I'm sure once you have the submissions, the comittee would give you some time to help judge, or gather your own group of judges.

If it's definately going to happen then it's not actually a bad idea!!!

I'd do it but starting from end of Jan coz I've got sites to make and upload then an interview at end of the month, don't think the site will be up by then by sounds of it anyway! Unless anyone else wants to do I'll try and remind myself to have a go then!
