Plastic Undertrays

Hi all, do the plastic undertrays cover the whole length of the car or stop just at the engine bay?

Is there a plastic undertray for the actual engine itself?

only 2 little ones either side but nothing under the engine itself

The undertrays underside finish kind of just after the rear of the firewall / front of the sump. They have sort of scooped shapes in the middle to curve the air upwards if I recall?

Oh are these easy to spot? If missing would these cause excess water to get into the engine bay area?

Yep the end of it kinda curves upwards.

i wouldnt of thought so, do you have a rain tray on your engine cover?

You actually get more crap in the engine bay if you're missing the one belt-end of the engine as rubbish can get up onto the alternator / aircon belts and then get flung all over the place. It's only the passenger side one which has a curved edge to allow air to come up onto the front face of the gearbox.

Yep I got the tray that funnels water attatched to the underside of the engine lid.

I'll try and look for this next time, just making some checks before i get a coilpack if there was a another area causing the car to die in the wet.
