i agree.

the car looks great, and i thought i knew a bit about cars, but reading that spec. I dont understand half of the things on there!

Not saying its not good to include full details but I guess for someone like me it can be a bit scary not knowing some of the stuff thats on the car.

It does all sound good tho! :thumleft:

Hi,

Can I ask a few Q's about this car? I'm still tempted!

How well does it get the power down? Is it undrivable around town? Have you got any 1/4 mile times etc?

Cheers,

Paul.

Hi Paul,

In the dry the power goes down extremely well. Little bit of rear movement when you whack the power on in first, but as soon as you deliver second gear, it sticks like s**t to a blanket!

Absolutely fine to drive around town... clutch isn't too heavy and its not too bity if you know what i mean.

No quater mile times i'm afraid, but i'm sure someone could give you an idea of what this power level would get you in the 1/4 mile with a good launch.

Ok coo. how is the gearbox on it? Notchy at all going into 2nd/3rd? Is it the standard original box?

Cheers,

Paul.

I've never had any problems from second or third.
The gearbox is a reconditioned rev3 box, which i had put on when the engine was built.

I think it would be under 12 with a good launch and tyres..(thats what I hope mine would get and I've got similar power)

Rob thanks for that.
I was thinking about the same sort of area, but wasn't 100% sure.

I got a 13.1 with "only" 300bhp so add a 50% increase and I reckon you'll be doing low 12's all day long and probably in to the 11's fairly well.
