450BHP - Mr2 GT Turbo - Rev 2 - 85K - VERY FAST! **price drop**

Post by GGilbert_MR2 »

Thinking of Selling my Pride and Joy – 450BHP Monster!

Black Toyota Mr2 GT Turbo – MK2 – Rev2 – L reg 1993

85,000 Miles on the Clock
2 Months Tax
MOT now valid till August 2011

Running in the region of 450fwhp – Have graphs when Ryan @ 2bar Tuning mapped it on the dyno and it made a comfortable 401.3fwhp @ 1.5bar. The engine was re-built at 80k, so only done 5k miles.

This car is in immaculate condition, No expense spared, Very fast car and sounds fantastic. I will be very sad to see it go!

Reasons for selling – Have a company car, doesn’t get used enough & now have a house

I have owned the car for 4 years.

Security
Autowatch Cat 1 Alarm & Immobiliser with certificate

TRD Engine Mounts
Cusco Front & Rear Strut Braces
Uprated Brass Gearshift Bushes (GTSChris)
Lexus Style Rear lights (left one – seals have gone, so is letting a small bit of moisture in and is condensing on the inside, hasn’t affected the lights.

INTERIOR
180mph Speedo
Omori Boost Gauge 45mm in-dash
HKS Turbo Timer
Electronic Boost Controller

BRAKES
Yellow Stuff Pads

WHEELS
Works VS-XX Wheels – 17 x 8j front, 17 x 9j - offsets 35 no spacers required
Goodyear Eagle F1 Tyres 215x40x17 front 245x40x17 rear
Sadly the front left is scuffed, but for about £70 you could get it sorted. These were very expensive wheels from the states and I nearly cried when I brushed the kurb! All others in great condition

I’m sure that’s everything with regards the specification, but probably missed something out.

Looking for £4,495.00 ONO.

I’m based in Nottinghamshire and welcome any viewings – Please no test pilots!

Will give her a clean at the weekend and get some pictures up.

I've spent alot of money on it over the years, but know i'll never get that back, but i can now say i've had my fast car! Time to let it go to a new home and to someone who will enjoy it as much as i have.

Ok Great. Just let me know in due course.

C'mon guys!

You'll buy the cheaper standard car and get the BHP bug and end up spending a fortune, just bite the bullet get yourself a bargain of what it would cost to do!

If the standard looking exterior is putting you off... just imagine sat at a set of lights and a supercar pulling up alongside looking all smug. Out gun him off the lights then ask him how much he paid for his!
Can't beat being subtle!

Nice car, out of my price range. What might be putting people off is spending over £5K on a car that they then have to immediately MOT. You say its passed everytime, but its not encouraging to potential buyers to have to risk an expensive MOT straight after purchase.

Badge is a standard Toyota one from an import MK3. Available from any competant Toyota parts department.

My thoughts exactly!
I was unable to MOT it until the 27th July 2010.
It has been MOT'd this morning and happy to say its PASSED!

So car now has MOT for 1 yr.

I hate to say it, but I think the big powered cars appeal to a much smaller market than standard(ish) cars these days.

There could be absolutely nothing wrong, but when ever they go up for sale, they're the ones that hang around the longest.
