[Mk2] [Turbo] No Boost

Hi I have a 92 turbo. As I was driving the other day car was going brilliant and boosting well then I stopped at a junction, when I took of ther was no boost at all boost gauge only goes up to 0, and car completly dead, car still driving fine with no smoke or oil just no power. Came home and checked all the pipes for boost gauge, manual boost controller etc, took pipe of side of turbo to check it an inside is moving freely any ideas what to check next.

IC pipes? Split or popped off?

sounds like your exhaust turbine has come off or broken in places.
take downpipe off to have a look.

Does the car sound a bit like it has no exhaust? What does it feel like when you accelerate?

I've had it a couple of times where the turbo nuts that hold the turbo to the downpipe have come loose (actually three fell off and one was finger tight ). Causes the same symptoms as you've described.

Car sounds and drives ok bar no boost, will take a look at the IC pipes if not them will take down pipe of and check turbo. Could it be any sensors i could check 1st?

deffinatly sounds to me like exhaust wheel has snapped off. downpipe off and inspect

A pre rev 3 turbo won't even run with an IC pipe off, it will start but stall as soon as you squirt the jazz...
