[Mk2] [Turbo] Throttle assembly problem. Strange 2 thin pipes coming out from throttle on RHS

Post by Eksterminator »

I am doing N/A ->turbo convertion and got no idea what should be connected to 2 thin pipes coming out from throttle assembly on the passenger side of the car. At the moment I just connected them together by piece of rubber hose. Could that be like this ? What they supposed to do ?! Where should I connect them ?

iirc one should go to the MAP sensor (the sensor in the very bottom right corner of your photo) and the other goes to the little metal pipe on the fuel rail cover - it's under the inlet manifold.

its quite clear the guy isnt talking about the charcoal canister pipes.....
bob, tut tut! :thumleft:

the confusion lies in the fact he mentions the TB and passenger side, but those pipes hes pointing to are part of the manifold, not TB and are drivers side, lol...

open up his picture and look to what hes pointing at, youd see its not the CC pipes

Sorry I meant drivers side

One goes to the MAP-Sensor and one goes to the fuel rail and is for the FPR.
