COD: Black Ops or Medal of Honor?

Well.. since the time is coming closer for these 2 games... which one will you be getting?

I believe that since some of the developers who worked on MW2 are no longer there and the feeling is that Black Ops it wont be as good.

The new MOH has caught the medias eye as its based on the current Afghan war (or very similar) so its getting the publicity it wants to sell copies!

Im undecided yet..

Black Ops was never touched by Infinity Ward (CoD1, 2, 4 & 6) as it's being developed by Treyarch (CoD3 & 5) and thus has much lower expectations. Everyone will still fawn over it as the greatest thing ever regardless though.


As an SP gamer I'm far more interested in a reboot of the MoH series. I quite enjoyed AA, although I do realise that it had numerous flaws. If they can get close to CoD4 in terms of quality then I'll be happy.

I'll be getting both, looking forward to MoH more though, although the multiplayer demo's I've seen so far on CoD look good

im probably going to go for both as well but will buy one at a time and which one i buy first will depend upon the reviews...

Both for me as christmas pressies from family probably. And will probably enjoy MOH more as they seem to take longer to complete.

Also hoping gt5 will deffo be out when they say so will add that in also.

CoD: Black Ops is definitely on my list. Treyarch, despite not designing maps as good as what Infinity Ward did, and nearly messing up the single player stuff (constantly respawning enemies) - they did do some really good stuff on WaW - Graphics were much better than any of the MW games, and had some great sequences like the beach landing etc

MoH I'm not sure, but it's likely to be good

Man i love medal of honour, always thought the call of dutys were inferior back in my WW2 gamer days,

European assault was ace rising sun was a bit pants though

I'll deffo be getting MoH, bit undecided on black ops as someone said above that constant respawn thing really put me off of WaW.

IW did that too in all theirs apart from MW2 when they realised it was sh*t.

Didn't notice if they did. The point is it was so noticeable in WaW

Must admit I didn't notice in WaW, but then I didn't play it very much because it wasn't very good.

Just been up tesco's thye got black ops cases on the shelves available to pre order 6/11/10 £5 to reserve

The case had 2 pics on the back,
1. a guy abseiling in the snow (sound familiar?)
2. the view from inside the cockpit of a heli gunship on a strafing run
looked good

The thing is... GT5 is also out in November so that along with these two games... might be the cause for a divorce by Xmas!

I might take a week off work when it comes out so i can do just that

Think I'll wait to see what the reviews say. For now I'm enjoying Battlefield BC2 which is good fun online.

both, going to stagger my gaming thought, all the best games seem to come out at once so, i always get a load of new titles rush through them then have nothing for 8 months

I really loved Call of duty 3 - online and campaign modes so I am looking forward to Black ops!

I dont reckon black ops will be much cop either after buying MOH, gonna wait a while and see the reviews.
