Thread pitch of the oil return

Post by Shmed »

Anyone know the thread pitch of the oil return fitting (the one that goes to the sump)?

I can measure mine later, but thought I'd see if anyone knew off the top of their heads?

You got a moroso? I was looking at those too, decided it was a little too rich.

If no-one gets back, I'll measure mine later on.

Yes the moroso came on the forged engine i bought from Cantfindausername but i'm guessing the fitting was sold with the GT35r turbo kit which i didn't have enough cash for :(

Aah.

What turbo are you running? Have you got the oil feed sorted yet? I've got a -4AN hose to feed the GT and need to attach it to the block.

Apparently the thread size of that (rev2 block) is M18 x 1.5mm. I can't get an M18 to -4AN connector, but can get M18 to -6AN then -6AN to -4AN. Not sure if that is the best way to do it?

I don't know the answer to your question but I know it's different between rev1&2 and rev3 onwards!

I think it's actually covered in one of Ant's threads. I'll see if I can find it.

At the moment i'm running an ATS TD06 kit but if i do get another turbo it will be a gt3076 or similar.
