Reciepts for a reconditioned engine with forged pistons in 2007.
When I asked the previous owner imoc member red tyson about the engine, he said the forged build had broken and this was replaced by a reconditioned standard engine at a later date.NOT SO GOOD BITS:
Gearbox will not go into 4th gear, and it struggles and seems to stick in gear.
I think it needs a new gearbox.Alternator has just failed
Bootlid/ inspection panels are scruffy, a couple of age related marks around the bodywork, and some scuffs on the front bumper
Temperature gauge comes on and off
(always sits halfway but then drops to low and comes back on)Two of the tyres deflate when left, takes about 3 weeks to go down.
Speedo is not working
The car runs and drives as it should apart from the above problems.
It goes about 15 miles and then the battery is flat. Please remember i am no mechanic so viewing is recommended so you can make your own mind up about the car. Sold as seen. Please remember the car will need recovering, unless you bring an alternator with you.I bought this off here a few months ago with the intention of fixing it and using it as a daily driver.
After being ripped off by imoc member 3SGTE, i can now lo longer afford to fix this car as the money put aside for it I have to spend on my other mr2 
It had red leather seats when i bought it along with trd clocks, but i have stolen these for my own mr2 and replaced with white clocks and gts seats.I had this listed on e-bay last week and it made
£1000, sadly the winning bidder was from lithuania and was a complete timewaster so the car is up for sale on here for £1000.From memory I paid
