Hey buddy that's some high hp your after, what mods do you have at the moment and what rev is your engine? I'm pritty sure if your running a rev3 you should be fine have hurd the rev2 inlet mani's are more restrictive, most peaple with rev2 opt for the rmr manifolds there highly rated and from what I have seen and read very well made etc, as for the inlet manifold you posted I wouldnt fit one if I was given one, I have seen one of theses before the build quality is very very poor and wasn't even flat and had to be skimmed as for the TB that just fell apart after a few weeks, if your running a rev3 inlet mani just keep it buddy and fit an oversized TB most fit 90mm to 95+mm hope this helps :)

Interesting- I've searched for reviews on the KU manifolds (nothing on the TB's though) and heard some really good feedback. Just goes to show you can't believe everything you read on the net lol

Thats certainly true!

For what its worth, quite a few cars over in the US run these without complaint as far as i know. Might be worth contacting Nath @ century motorsport as he was running one of these manifolds i believe with good success.

Rearly i cant beleive there have been good feedback for these im unsure if the manifold i saw was ku as the guy never mentioned it was just said it was an ebay special, it rearly was horrific quality even the chrome was paper thin and peeled off and the bolt hole bearly lined up lol, well if nathen and chris ran the ku with sucess then that oviously confirms there a good product did they both run the TB as im pritty sure nathen didnt he run a ripps TB im unsure what chris was running,

I guess im just very weary of anythink off ebay as there always horror stories behind them an not usualy as dercibed.

i have searched ku engineering but they dont seem to have a website :-k

while were on the subject does anyone no the restiction on the rev3 mani as i think andy f was running well in excess of 500+hp with uprated TB but im unsure what can be achived past this?

KU one is solid alloy Gav, not plated with dodgy chrome. So I suspect the dodgy ebay special is not the KU one. Nath did mention he had to have the mating face skimmed and the runners port matched. I don't know if this was down to a defective manifold, or just personal choice though.

I used a 95mm Rips GTR throttle body, and had it reversed. No worries at all. Very good bit of kit.

Reading the other thread that has been pointed out by SFlee, you cannot use a stock throttle body with the KU manifolds. it would fall in the inlet  Also, the runners are not the stock ones.

is this simon at 3s service centre i also bought some parts from si, sound like there a mighty spec on that engine, i like the sound of your plans, did you mean that your going to buy a set of 850cc injectors? as i woulod of thought they would top out well before 550 600hp, and your going to fit a boot mount or you already have one fitted, what core did you opt for, and why are you selling the 272 as i would think you would want them, i no chris and andy run standard rev3 cams with very good results. if i were in your shoes i would fit a phoenix power side feed intake manifold desighend for use with boot mounts, there was one for sale that simon was selling they dont come up often but i couldnt afford bride seats aswell lol, and i have hurd nothink but good things about the solaris now syvec i think? you sound like were both heading down the same path im also going to be swapping my gt3076 for the gt35 but im just paranoid as i have been told its pritty common to get head lift wich puts me off, so will probebly fit LP19 ARP headstuds to try and prevent this. you should start a build thread buddy :thumleft:

he cant get that inlet because i have it

injector at least 1000cc+ for 600 :P and twin pump

the manifold locky he selling is bargain, temp me also, but my turbo is not t4 twin scroll,

if you go boot mount you may need the feed reverse rather the a u shape pipe, since ku make there own manifold, you can ask them to do it? rather get it and butcher it

you may wamt to get his twin plated os giken at bargain price also

i have the ku inlet on my mr2, i had to get the flange face skimmed as was up and down like a yo-yo, and have had to cut of the throttle body flange and move it to face higher as with boost pipe on was fouling the top of cam cover, apart from that it seems to look very well built
