You could poly bush engine mounts, waterpump, maybe oil pump? obviously timing belt if your doing a headgasket, thermostat depends on how far you want to go

Cambelt, pumps and hose from hell while it's out. Most other stuff is easily done with the engine in situ. Genuine pumps are about £100 each.

why is the engine out? I'd give it a good clean and then weigh up what to do.

He says he is doing the clutch.

I would change the cam cover gasket (if its leaking), much easier to do with the engine out. Check out the guide tho, to make sure you do it properly.

If you need to buy a few gaskets, I would consider buying the headset tho, I bought 5 gaskets from Mr T's and a few exhuast manifold bolts, came to nearly £70. That reminds me, if your gonna snap manifold bolts, do it while the engine is out, as drilling and tapping the threads with the engine in will be a mare. :thumleft:

Check the turbo for the normal play too, or buy a good CT20b unit. Doubt you'll every regret that.

Surely you wouldn't remove the engine completely , just to do the clutch though...

Tbh i think its prob easier that way if the g/box hasn't been off in a few years. when i took my engine out, the g/box was like it was welded on!
