Also, what time do you want to make it? I'm assuming not a late one!

Don't think I can, skint until Friday!

It's a Tenner + Beer, and I can shout you that until Friday!

Regarding all this extra camping gear everyone is packing...
I thought the entry included Breakfast, Evening BBQ and Beer - so what extra are you cooking for? speciality Tea for your morning tipple??

Paul,

No evening meal on Friday
No lunch on Saturday
No evening meal on Sunday
No breakfast on Monday

Plus if I want a brew during the day....
I am going to live forever, or die trying!

In that case count me in ;) Is there just the 3 of us going? That will be weird... we all have the same colour MK2s!

Currently yes - only 2 have replied... I guess the folks might pop down as well - 'tis their favourite restaurant too, we would have ended up down there regardless I think.

Scott, are you going to pop over for the evening?
Who else is staying in Maidstone?

I think I'll follow everyone else's lead and raid Sainsbury thurs night for some supplies.

Ummm...other things...

- make sure you've told your insurance company you're going to Germany - they like to know in advance
- European Health Insurance Card (free)

That's probably enough for now - there are checklists available from the AA, directgov.org etc about what to take with you for nearer the time (i.e. passport, insurance docs, vehicle reg docs, etc)

John, is this the one you are refering to?

Looks like it - I think I got the info from the Shell website - looks different from yours but both postcodes take you to the same spot.

Here anyway:

Just figured a Shell on the M20 close to Dover was probably a good meeting place.

J11 the M20 anyhoo :)

That's the place where "Se Germans" stay. Great place to stay on top of a hill. We'll stay in the hotel in Brochthausen, just two villages further away. We'll honk everytime we pass to keep you guys awake.. :D

Ok, For those going for a Curry....

British Raj Sittingbourne, 7PM ok with everyone?
Street View: http://goo.gl/maps/dLUd

Parking...
http://www.carparks4u.com and search Sittingbourne.
Free parking can be found on Bell Road, which is only 3 mins walk.

There is a very large Sainsbury off "Avenue of Remembrance" which could do for a few hours free parking, and last min shopping! (Open 'till 10pm)
http://snipurl.com/zwzf5

The Council carparks are 70p / Hr
Closest would be Central Avenue (Opp Library & Police Stn), Swallows (Next to Sainsbury) or 'The Forum' which is right on the high street.

I'll PM my mobile phone number to everyone now...
