Just about finished blinging up my new manifold, spent the best part of 10 hours on this so you better like it!!!

I'm thinking bout offering this as a polishing service to people if anyone is intrested.

About 3 hours with an orbital sander, 4 hours with various grades of wet and dry, and a bit of metal polish thrown in at the end to finish it off...

Wouldn't recomend it .... my wrists really hurt now

that was another home job...

took it all out... cleaned it all with meths, and then sprayed it with alloy wheel paint and laquered it

Took an afternoon to do

Spraying your engine is easy

i fancied something a bit different

How on earth did you get an orbital sander to do that ?

Was it one of the black and decker mice types ?

No to engine transplant lined up... thought it may fit as the block is the same... but found out it wouldn't.... therefore I have a manifold spare.

No engine transplant planned at all i'm afraid... my engines got a clean bill of health and i'm not goin to get rid of it till something goes wrong

As for the polished manifold... its gettin flogged at some point... im plannin on startin up a mini business venture polishing mr2 manifolds
