interior trim has not really been altered at all by the cage.

try get a quote first i guess :)

I can get insurance with or without the cage no probs fella - just the extra cost with the cage just isn't worth it!

Still...may be in touch in a week or two :)

Met up with Nick the other day, and this is a lovely car.. If i was in the market for a Mr2 again....................... :mrgreen:

Slight O/T but good to meet you today Nick :thumleft:

I had a fun drive back home (skipped the M3 and M25 for some better roads!).

Good luck with the sale mate, if you fancy a drive sometime let me know it only takes about 20mins to get to some good roads :)

if you can take out the cage I would be very interested in this.... like I would come and buy it this week, the cage puts me off massively!

thing is guys, if i start stripping mods from the car and it does not sell, then i'm left with a lesser car than i started off with. hope you guys understand where i'm coming from. yes i will gain money from this as well, but i rather either enjoy the car as it is, or not have it as a whole.

scholesy; 'sjm1984' actually lives few miles from me, so maybe you could pm him and see if he definately wants the cage and sell it to/visit him after you purchase the car?

might well be an idea, I wasnt sure about taking it out myself due to what it is attached to etc, it might leave the car in a state, if you can guarantee it isnt drilled into the floor etc it would be something I would consider doing as it looks great otherwise!
