My car started making a really irritating squealing noise when the wipers are turned on the other day.
I have done the obvious and lubricated the blades but strangely this isn't anything to do with it as the noise persists even when the wipers are detached from the car completely.The local garage had a look today and said they couldn't do anything to lubricate anything that would help and that it would need new part(s).
They said something about a new "gear set" (whatever that is) and I wanted to know if any of you out there experienced this and what parts you replaced in order to stop it.Is it a new motor I'm needing or new wiper linkages?
