Inaccurate boost meter ?

Post by Ren0W »

Who should I trust?

My EMS powered digital boost gauge reads 17.9 PSI

as where my Gizzmo EBC reads 1.07 bar.

1.07bar = 15.5 PSI
17.9PSI = 1.23 bar

That's quite a difference I think?
Perhaps even a difference which can cost me my engine?

I know what you mean, my Greddy guage says I hit 1 bar where as the AVCR says I sometimes hit 1.16bar!

my greddy profec b II reads approx 0.05bar lower than my defi boost gauge.

i tend to stick with the boost controller reading as that is controlling the boost?
