After taking it off again i looked at the the fins
(should have checked first), I found that one corner was broken off a fin on the cold side and most of the fins were broken off on the hot side.
i have found a shaft on ebay says it s for a celica ct26, will it be the same, i cant find a part number on my turbo.
Or is there an upgrade kit, if so where can i get one.
or is it better to bin it and get another one.

The photo looks right for what you want but you have to make sure they are selling the shaft and comp wheel together. You also need to check what the shipping cost will be, that may well be the same amount as the shaft.
Once the have the parts you will also need new bearings and seals then it will all have to be balanced and that will cost you£100 or so.
I would look for an undamaged turbo and have new seals and bearings fitted, I can do the for£150
+ postage

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way.So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
