[Mk2] [NA] No lambda sensor or cat on uk 1990 rev 1 GT

Post by tkl »

Hello just like to know if she's supposed to have a lambda sensor, the original down pipe doe's not have a hole for one, and there is no cat either. It's a 1990 UK rev1 GT car registered in October 1990, and I can't see any wires in that area. Any help would be well appreciated.

UK Rev1 N/A cars did not have a lambda sensor.

Hi Peter, many thanks, MOT station has been trying to get the three green readings on the test thingy but couldn't get to the right levels.

Should be easy to pass emmissions test since it's a non-cat test.

IIRC, pre-92 UK cars, 3.5% CO.
