You are allowed to turn up with a loud exhaust, mine kicks out nearly 130db at near full chatter. There is NO ban on loud exhausts, I just ask for restraint in the village to prevent problems with the BIB. You more then welcome to turn up, its just not a general car event its for MR2s only, a few exceptions for long term members of the forum.

grant_day wrote:hey all, im new to the mr2 scene, ive owned my 2 turbo since august but the gearbox needed replacin 2 weeks after buying her, only just scraped enough funds to get her to pacific works, she should be running in time for this meet,

hope to see you there , I live in farnborough so its just down the a331 for me, if i cannot make it to this meet how often are meets to the surrounding guildford and camberley area???

I know its a long-ass message but "meh" deal with it haha!
:oldtongue: :D

You more then welcome to come along, hope to see the tubby there. Guildford meets are run irregularly at the moment and the Midnight Run is an exception to it. If you not running in the 2 you more then welcome to come down and passenger with someone if you want to meet peeps.

Maybe, if I'm welcome.

Or course. I'll even pay for your fuel if you bring the twin charger.

Even if I bring it on a transporter? :eye:

Has to be driveable under its own steam, you not allowed to just sit in it and go "brum brum" while driven around on a truck.

You can take my Mk1 if you want? I can't make it now and the car will not be needed until Sunday afternoon :thumleft:
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Munnsy I don't have a problem, you been on runs before and are at heart an MR2 owner. Its people who not on the forum and have no real MR2 connection with, and who have not been to meets before that I get nervous about.

Cheers for the offer, but I guess you'll want it returned with an engine, so I will have to decline  next year! \:D/
