Mine sits quite low

Image

I had notes of a 41mm drop on the front and 39mm on the rear but Mr Horrocks and the lads in work say it's much lower than that?

Keep putting off raising it a little becasue my mates fed up of welding up/replacing the flexi on the Departure II

Sweet looking tubby.

I have the same clearance issue on my Motoria flexi. I have shredded it!

Can't beat a bit of stance. The white one is the only one that does it for me, them Cragars look awesome on her!!

I'll be back soon with mine :thumleft:

edit; I see they are Diamonds, not Cragars..

Those diamond wheels are amazing sizes. Would love to see a pic of the side profile of that car. I wonder if there are any around the UK that size and our fitment?

Agreed it looks sweet, but what is the point if it is undriveable? Might as well take the engine out and just look at it!

Mine on coilovers is an effort with our bad roads, this must be horrible.

If you've got it on a stiff enough set up (most coileys are to be fair) then you're not gona get that much of a problem handling wise.
My mates got a bb6 prelude that is sitting on it's ar$e, his wheels slightly tuck (yes I know it's a big difference) and there's no scuffing and it handles amazing and looks better than all of the other ludes I've seen.
People are scared to drop it like a race car because of practicality, if you wanted it to be practical, don't buy a sports car! haha. :p

Take a look at my Mk2 on page 1 mate - its low on GAB coilovers but could be set much lower.

In its current state I can JUST get away with using the car on normal roads. My front wheels lightly brush the arches over mild bumps and I am waiting to fit my Phoenix's Power RCA's to correct the geometry following the lowering as it skips about on uneven surfaces.

My exhaust regularly catches on speed bumps producing a shower of sparks - something I would rather not have to deal with.

That white car would be undriveable I assure you unless you have a racing track smooth road network like in Japan.

yours is low Rob, and nice looking btw.
It doesn't look that much lower than mine? although the arches are in shadow in the pic so tough to tell.
I'm gona drop mine as much as poss and if there's light scuffing I'll just put up with it. might remove the arch line and treat underneath so theres more space under there. we'll see!
