PLEASE HELP.. t bar seals

Post by LeesaH »

Hi folks,

Need some advice please.......

Had leaking t bar, which I have changed the eccentric rod guides on and fitted new seals but they are STILL leaking ](*,) (not as bad as before it has to be said)!

So does anyone have any ideas what I can do now to stop it completey, am getting fed up of getting a wet bottom every time I drive any where

I use Vaseline (or similar)smeared all over the seals , people say it damages the seals as its petroleum based but imo if they leak there knackered anyway, but it’s it up to you to choose :thumleft:

but my T-bars dry inside.

either http://awpish.co.uk/motor/tubby/tBarLeak.html or my personal favourite http://awpish.co.uk/motor/tubby/tBarGuides2.html <- that works a treat and no messy sealant either
