[Mk2] [NA] sneak preview

Post by as8133 »

Here are a few pictures from my project. It is a work in progress and will eventually be used as a promotions car for my smart repair business, so for those of you around the hitchin luton area - keep and eye out :-)

This is how it arrived:

That link is blocked at work for some reason, although a quick google search suggests why
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

wheels are 18" 'Godfather' rims, fronts 8.5JJ +30 offset, rears are 9.5JJ +30 offset. Lowered on tein springs on standard struts, clearance to the spring seat is less than 2cm and the clearance to the arch at the rear was less than 2cm until i rolled the rear arches, its still going to be tight and i think there will be some rubbing on big bumps but we'll see what happens when it goes for MOT next week! Is it ture that you don't need reversing lights for an MOT, sure i read that somewhere?
