[Mk2] [Turbo] Boost Problems

Hi, prior to geting a new clutch, decat and driveshaft installed i ran my MCB at .8/9 bar. The car boosted fine. Today, when i picked the car up the mech said i should turn my boost down because it is up to high and causing the engine to cut-out.

on the way home i boosted the car and once giving it the beans the gauge read somewhere near 1.3 then the engine seemed to stop and the orange engine came on.

will turning the MCB down stop this occuring?

has my boost shot up because of the clutch and decat?

You are experiencing boost creep because of the decat, You are hitting fuel cut when the engine management light comes on and engine cuts out. It is a safety mechanism to stop your engine going pop. Turn the MBC back down to 0.8-0.9bar and you will be fine again.
