Rusty headlamp inards - loose fitting - where to buy bits

Post by Rikki »

Hey folks,

One of my headlamps died so I ordered a crystal set from the states which arrived today fitted with H4's.

Went to install on the car and everything inside the plastic shroud is all rusted to bu88ery. The old headlamps units were wobbling around inside the plastic sleeve too :S

Wheres the best place to get replacement inner bits, the metal basket that the headlamp unit sits in and also there was a rusted spring, broken off something hanging loose on that inner basket but I couldnt figure out where it was supposed to go.

Lastly - anyone have any photos of what it "should" look like in there as mine looks like a relic from Chernobyl.

Mucho grassyass! :D

Thanks!

Mine are WELL worse than this!

Its the part you see in the second image I'm needing replacements of. Wonder how much Mr T will want to fleece me for those bad boys plus the bolts and springs. LOL
