Dashboard warning lights, reasons?

Post by Awilkinson75 »

I am unable to start my MR2 MK2 G-limited. There seems to be a lack of fuel coming in to the engine and I believe there is a fuel leak on the fuel pipe between the the filler and the rail. Think I knocked it when I was installing a new alternator last week. Would this cause the following lights to remain on when trying to start the car and failing: Low oil Pressure, Mailfunction Indicator, Engine Compartment Cooling Fan. Also I managed to start the engine for a few seconds which proves that the Dizzy cap is working and getting a spark. The only other problem with the engine is a sensor attached to the rear left boot wall in the engine compartment, one of the air pipes had snapped off it but have done a quick DIY till a replacement can be sort. Pulling my hair out at the moment, been off the road for over 2 weeks and need it for work. Many thanks, Andy
