there is a black guy around the streatham area with an original trd kit on a na car. as i have had a chat with him...he paid well over the odds on getting the kit and put onto the car.......he thought it was a better bet from the ferrari he had before..i think he paid over 20k for kit and car and fit.
was it this one as i took some pics of it.

looks better from a distance. thats for sure. his wheels off sets are well off the rears sit far too much in the arch.
plus when i saw it it had 2 different chairs in the car.
but i really do think its a genuine kit as he reckoned that the guys at ferrari sourced it for him at about 10 years ago.
and charged him 17k for the kit alone.and that was about the time when you could still get a kit for about 5 to 6 k. from mr t in japan so its been around for a while.
he placed it on ebay about 3 years ago for sale for around 30k and got ripped apart by topgun and others so he took it off .when i spoke to him about this he laugh it off saying it was only a joke and just testing the waters . but i think he really thinks it worth that considering he spend loads on it .

No mate mine is just a replica... but it was put together rather well
as i had my bodyfit guy put all the trim from the 2 back onto the panels
which i can tell you took months 2 to...
all the genuine trd's have not got this done to the kit as i now know it almost impossible to do unless you want to put in many man hours ..

Ahhhhhh, so that who you are. I live in Wimbledon and have seen your car a few times from a distance but never been close enough to say hi. I mentioned your car to james at 3S not too long ago and he told me he knew the car from my description. Stunning car bud.

that red one doesnt look like a genuine kit to me, the recess for the foglights isn't deep enough and the sidestrips arent there either. i could be wrong but it just doesnt look like a genuine one in my opinion.

your car on the other hand agentturbo, as im sure i have said before is stunning! the actual sidestrips on your car is something i'm very jealous of and i can imagine the work involved to fit them! do they unbolt and hide mounting points for the kit?
I'd love to see more pics of your car too if you have them?
