Hi Guys,

Right about to book the car park ticket, will be on the ferry case next week, awaiting Pete Kyte's arrival back for holidays, the will talking to Reema and Chris and booking ours, think our plan is ferry Monday overnight in Rouen (will be on that case too), then down to campsite Tuesday and stay for a week, not sure Jinxy and I are on for Bolt-On yet. Will also contact Shane and Susan.

With regards to campsite Juiss (spelling?) made us let overs last aware that he are all paying for a pitch, when in actual fact you can get at least 3/4 tents per pitch, we've been ROBBED =; :pale: . So our plan this year was to bulk up. Quie happy to organise this as well and liase with Dominque.

What do you guys think?

Eh? I don't understand the whole thing with the camping situation, what's the score there?

Hi Dan and all others

Well apparently each and every one us was paying for a pitch (obviously not likem us here 1 tent = 1 pitch, the French do bigger pitches), but in actual fact we can have at least 3 or 4 tents to a pitch, and on the Monday, we worked that out after the conversation with Juiss, say for example like this year, our tent, Pete Hartley's, Stuart Kynoch and half of Graham & Lou's in one single pitch

Laymans terms we pay say £100 per pitch, this year per couple next year the pitch cost is split between 3 or 4 tents.

I hope note too confusing :-k

Thanks Ki, will take that into consideration

John (toxo) will do

At this rate I'll have a spare seat, so if anyone fancies doing the trip on the cheap give me a shout!

hi guys,

a few of us have started making plans for the trip next year. myself, debs, michael and ali have made bookings at the following:

hotel 1:
premier inn (east ferry terminal) dover
monday, 7th june 2010 for 1 night
£69, pay on arrival (secure with card details)

ferry:
outbound - tuesday, 8th june 2010 dover - boulogne 7am
inbound - tuesday, 15th june 2010 boulogne - dover 1045am
£36, pay up front

hotel 2:
premier classe boulogne - saint martin les boulogne
monday, 14th june 2010 for one night
38 euros, pay on arrival (secure with card details)

parking at the circuit might become and issue, as usually the companies selling spaces require you to buy the race tickets too. we were going to buy our race tickets there, they're usually around the same sort of price, give or take a couple of quid. don't know if anyone fancies taking on a job of organising...

haven't booked the camping yet, we usually do this in january when domonique starts taking bookings.

Myself and Mark are going over on slightly different days/ferries should anyone want to come along who hasn't before but can't do the whole week...

Staying at the Premier Inn Dover East ferry terminal
Tues 8th June
£69 per room

Ferry
Weds 9th June
Dover to Calais P&O
07:30
£25

Tues 15th June
Calais to Dover P&O
15:25
£40

I take it people have already started e-mailing Dominique about the camping, or are we waiting to see how many we can get per pitch?

I'm glad one of us can remember just when we're supposed to be e-mailing him, as I had no idea what time we'd done it in previous years!

as i understood it, alison aka "mother clucker" was on the case of the camping, and was also going to speak to dominique who i believe can get us parking tickets as well. this way, we don't have to buy our general entry tickets til we get there. i think we opted for red parking...

dan, what date you and mark coming back to uk, you've only said what date you travel to france, unless i'm mistaken??
