Why did you only map it to .9 Bar if it can do so much more mate?

Chris.

It says HKS cams and pistons? Just can't understand why, if it can, you would not map it to it's full potential :-k

Always loved this car though, used to see it alot when knocked round with shaf and that lot years ago

Yeh- that's why I asked about internals- I was guessing that Ryan didnt want to map for too much boost if he was unsure what was in the block maybe? Although does say it was running 1.6bar before, and it's got water injection on it: all points towards more boost potential :-k

Great looker whatever, would help it sell to understand the low boost though :thumleft:

i would of thought a t88 would of made more than 387bhp at 1.6 bar of boost

I was thinking the same as my T67 made 406bhp at 1.5 with forged internals and a CC.

Mind you the T88 is good for 2bar plus so who knows why. Every PP car I've ever seen has always shown something unique.

surely PP would have forged it if they put all them other mods on it... can you not check without taking the engine to bits by looking through a spark plug hole??

The bodykit new alone costs probably close to the asking price...

I think there's a story behind this car, remember reading something about it :-k i think the original turbo set up was changed by one of the previous owners or something like that.

It is a great car and one that I have always wanted. Missed out last time this car was available as I was out bided, this time I’m not sure I have the funds as I have a wedding to pay for. :(

The car is only mapped on waste gate pressure, nothing at all to worry about. The new owner could easily get more power out of her.
I’m sure the seller will be along soon to answer questions.
