its hydraulic mate not cable
first off have you had anything changed recently? engine been out or clutch change? possibly just needs bleeding (how many miles on the clutch btw? standard clutch?)
if nothing has been disturbed recently it is most likely a fluid/seal issue
check the fluid in the master cylinder in the frunk, you will need to remove the spare wheel and plastic frunk liner to do this (the one you can see when you open the bonnet is the brake master cylinder)
if all seems well and and no fluid leaks move on to the clutch slave cylinder (what i would put my money on)
you need to get under the car to check this properly but is possible to have a quick look for leaks if you lie by the passenger side of the car with your head just forward of the rear wheel (feet to rear of car) and look up in to the engine bay at the front of the gearbox where you will see the slave cylinder, get someone to pump the clutch pedal and look for leaks
