low tick over

Post by alan wheeldon »

Recently my engine (1992 3SGTE) has lost its revs on tick over now down to 500rpm. With the engine cold or warm its the same, sometimes though it will shoot up back to normal but i dont know what the problem is.

Anyone??

It runs fine through the gears so I dont think it will be the compression otherwise that would have more simptons. its only on tick over

Its on the inlet manifold, this should help you

Scroll down to "Idle Speed Control (ISC) Valve (3S-GTE)"

Also check out the cold start injector, this could cause you problems too
