Celica pics as she currently stands! There's not as much choice when buying one of these as there is with the MR2's.

Similar shape but mine's an early '71 car with a flat lights and hidden fuel flap.

79 actually saw the introduction of the revised version but also the last run of my shape albeit with some revisions.

But that aside if your numberplate is from 1979 it can go on any car that has been made since 1979 just not earlier so as not to defraud the age of the car.

Thanks for the nice comments peeps.

Eh, well when you take a reg off they never look at the car, the log book is all you'd need!

And no you're not using mine to scrap so you can have your plate

I always said if I got another 2 it would be a rev5 in Cosmos Blue. Now I'd be torn. Thats a stunning colour on a stunning car in stunning condition.

Just the wrong time for me I'm afraid. But good luck and a free bump.

Completely stunning mate. Im sure the pictures don't do that colour any justice either, its great in the real light when the sun hits it.

And a bargain..... People shouldn't be put off by the auto box either. the later model boxes are actually really good. Got the be the only beams orange mica t-bar in the country for sure.... so if rarity is what you want.

Good luck with the sale anyways........

Hi Adam,

I have a few questions for you if you please.

Can you tell me when was this MR2 imported from Japan ?
How many owners did it have in UK ?
and how long have you been owning it ?

Thanks,

I have seen this car and it is a really stunning example of an mr2 let alone being a Beams and a proper on at that as well (JDM one not a conversion) and if I was in the market for another 2 atm i would defo consider it. I am sure who ever buys it will be really happy having such a rare car

Not sure on the windscreen mate it hasn't been replaced in my ownership that's for sure.

Only modifications are the fog light for UK MOT's, Sony CD MP3 player, and a Cat 1 alarm.

Bump for the new year. If a potential buyer would like a fresh MOT for 12 Months I would be more than happy to do this for them. It will fly through so not a problem.
