[Mk2] [Generic] BIG RED Calliper Repair Kits

Has anyone used the "Big Red" Calliper repair kits from Ebay ??? what were they like quality wise, and any problems.

Need to do the fronts and thier full axle kit is only £30.

Used them the once, and the kit was wrong. The piston seals were the wrong size, so sent them back. Got my kit from Camskill in the end.

Did the camskill come as an axle set (2 callipers) as it seemed expensive just for one calliper ??

Just got an email from Camskill, turns out the price of £32.29 is for ONE CALLIPER, so an axle set actually works out loads more than what MR T is charging

Oh well, see what BrakesInt come back with.

can you update this Sweete when you've sorted something, i was gonna refurb all mine but was put off by the price of the camskill set.

Ordered them from Big Red for £29 incl delivery, they guarantee they will fit so will see

i used a big red kit for my rear caliper refurb and it was spot on!! and fast delvery too!!

hmmmm...looking like big red will be the way forward then. those that have fitted them and had no problems, how long ago was it?

I've used these guys to rebuild some rev 3 calipers. Parts were spot on and i've done some pretty heavy track work with my motor since and they've been fine. Been on about 8 months now.
