[Mk2] [Turbo] Blue Smoke on Idle

Post by wazza2 »

Evening all.
Over the last few days, my car has become increasingly smokey, and it seems to have lost some power. The smoke is at its worst wen im sitting at lights or in traffic, but once its moving it seems to clear up. Also the plug tips appears to be excessively 'suity'. Any ideas?

Yes, turbo`s are home rebuildable.

There is a post somewhere about it. :thumleft:

Takes longer to take the turbo off than it does to change the seals. :thumleft:

You will need the major repair kit, see here.

The one on ebay does not have all the seals you will need.
