Stonleigh Restoration show

Hi

Any mk1 owners from here thinking about or would like to go to this excellent show at stoneleigh on the 25/10/09

This will probably get moved to events section but thought I would post here first to guage interest

The mk1 club have a stand with 2 cars on it .

If anyone is interested please let me know.

I love this show - one of the best ever as it's all about fixing something rather than standing around and spacking about nothing in general :thumleft:

Unfortunately we're racing at Snetterton (Caterhams) so I can't make it :(

Yeah its a great show and they normally have some good tool stands etc , Although the other year I came back with 3' high alien queen made by hand from nuts abolts etc :twisted:

My car wont be ready by then but will probably go along and could support others where necessary.... As I am building my own at the minute might be able to offer some assistance somewhere?

Yeah that wpold be good I will get back to you as soon as I know about tickets etc the club normally pay for these. :thumleft:

why not try and get next to the mk1club stand and have twice the room/cars/help. seems a bit silly to have 2 clubs doing the same thing.

Would be up for this - regardless of me being on stand with the MK1 or not.
Let me in!!!
The MK1 needs a cambelt changed, not been changed in excess of 60k miles.
Also a full service.

Yeah there is a spare ticket with your name on it, the mk1 lot are gonna meet at the main gate at 8.30 am on sunday

(remember the clocks go back early hours sunday morning)
