Gave it another clean today and only thing letting it down now are the alloys are a lil marked up curbed etc. Not sure what make they are but they have a BH logo on them...are the worth keeping and reconditioning or easyer to get some new ones...the tyres are all new tho and all tomohawks

Looks like a nice car mate, welcome to the IMOC!

Bought my H-reg T-bar auto back in August 08 and love it. I can only drive autos and the MR2 box is a good one compared to others I've driven. Lots of poke when you want it, my box is a little slow to react but might need a fluid change I guess. Power mode is fun, and I've surprised a few people.
Just like the look of the black rev1/2 as well........ that's jammy getting Autopista bits and some decent looking alloys in the deal.
I got Janspeed exhaust and GAB sport alloys
Good luck with yours :D

cheers for the welcome Barnz. I have to admit im loving the car lol. I only bought it on a wim and had no plans to keep it really. For £650 i expected a shed but in all honestly if i had paid 3 times that amount...it still be happy with the car. Im pretty new when comes to cars but im no stranger to speed and have rode sports bikes for 7 years or so and the acceleration on the auto box is well pretty impressive. Ive been looking for a turbo in the Sub £3000 bracket all summer and ive seen some real dogs...so got the N/A just for over winter...but ya know what i may just keep it lol

I've had my rev1 n/a over ten years now mate and used it as a daily driver for 9yrs of that. Brilliant car. Other than the odd flat battery almost never let me down. Maintain it well and it'll keep on doing what it was designed to do. Mine will be 20 and have done 200,000 come Dec.
Yours looks clean and well cared for, keep it like that and enjoy it for years and put a smile on your face every day of them. Welcome to imoc by the way.. interesting and often quite funny site.
