28th febuary 1992 would make it a rev 2 right?

Only the Vin number will really tell you if it's a revision 1 or 2.
Your car maybe went out from factory in october 1991, but sold on the market in feb 92, so it would be a rev1.
If the VIN number ends with a number higher than 0058848, so you can be sure it's not a rev1 ;-)

Just checked the V5, ends in 00607** so def rev2, cheers for the help mate :thumleft:

thats what I thought, although i have fog lights, ABS and power steering, which i heard rev1s didnt have?

reason im asking is I have bought some rev1 calipers and they wont fit onto the discs :?

supposedly rev2s have bigger discs?

Is it a GT model? GT ones did I`m sure. Well, mines a Rev1 GT and has ABS, Fogs and Power steering as standard, and the electric folding mirrors aswell.

yeh its a gt import, and has the folding mirrors :thumleft:

you have any idea why the calipers wont fit?

mines deffo a rev1 as its 1989 it has half leather, folding mirrors, directional fog lights (yellow tint), speed alterating pas,

Sounds like a previous owner has done you a favour and upgraded the brakes to Rev2 onwards spec. Be happy :)

I would be happy if I hadnt just spent £100 on new calipers lol
