[Mk2] [Turbo] coilover setup/ wheel alignment

Post by GTSAARON »

After having the new coilovers fitted I need somewhere to do 4 wheel alignment. When they were fitted they were set to full negative camber which i think must wear the inside of the tyres like crazy!!! Just had some new rubber fitted aswell so if anyone knows of anywhere that does 4 wheel alignments in the west midlands then that would be great :D

Cheers :thumleft:

Wheels In Motion are supposed to be one of the very best places and know 2s well. Not next door to you but well worth a trip I've been told. Will be taking mine there in a few weeks once I've got my polybush kit on.

+1 for WiM.

I have used them and will not go anywhere else for full geo setups. :thumleft:

I think they will have several setups for 2's as they have done quite a few now.

Hi folks,

I have just spoken to Protyre in Warwick, they say they have different set-ups for the Mr2 Turbo and that at their other branch they have lots of eperience with 'an MR2 Club' don't know which. He mentioned a set up called stealth???? Anybody know of Protyre??

Ask for the price. If it's anything less than £50 it won't be the real deal. Expect to pay between £50 and £100.

+4 for WIM, used Toni twice now, and need another visit...

Got the alignment done at Protyre and it was a fantastic set up. Brand new Hunters laser alignment system. Really cracking bunch of lads. Highly reccommend. Good price aswell due to them relaunching this branch :)

Yeah he said, ordinarily it would have been 120 quid but the manager has an mr2 and that combined with them just opening, he did the full set-up for 60 quid, which I thought was really good :)
