help with handling

Post by neilo666 »

hi

finally decided to get the handling sorted out as at the moment it drives a bag of crap, everything is standard on it as far as i can see.
Don't really know where to start tbh so any help would be appreciated.

car is turbo rev 2 if it helps

thanks

Company called Wheels in motion.
I used them to set up the geometry on my MR2 (track day toy) and they were very good. Imo, once you have the geometry set up then start looking at modifications. Strut bars / suspension / anti roll bars etc.

I have just taken my suspension off my Rev2 to see whats going on. So decided to replace the drop links, top mounts and springs as they all looked a littleworn.

The struts were fine upon inspection but the car seems much better already. I'm going to change all the bushes and then get it aligned.

Remember the car is likely to be 17 years old now so change everything and it should be back to new.

I'd replace a load of stuff, then go to them.

As MR2_RICH says, that suspension is 17 years old, it will be close to knackered (as you've said, it drives like a bag of crap).
