Mr2 with the "Le Mans bodykit"

Post by saj8162 »

Hi guys,

Just purchased my long awaited Le Mans Kitted MR2, trying find out if any1 knows any one else who owns a mr2 with the Le mans bodykit?

I remember a while ago a guy used to own a blue one, not sure if he was from this forrum or not!

I know its not to every one's taste, but i love it to bits, what you guys think?>

I do like it, but agree the rear end could do with something different. Feels a bit rushed compared to the rest of the car.

Would I do it to my own.... have yet to decide that.

Wow! I didn't know that kit was available, I think she is gorgeous! Where can a MR2 owner buy a kit like that and how much does it cost? There are some similarities between your MR2 and my MR2 like the hood, except I slaved myself for about 7 months doing all the body work to my car! :thumleft:

I really like this kit -at least I think it has allot of potential. Personally I wouldn't fit eveything (the canards on the front for one) -but what I think it lacks should be very easy to fix.

.......I'm very envious.

The wheels are Gram Lights 57 Pro by Volks Racing, but I had my own custom spec sizes that I submited when I ordered them from the performance shop that's located close to my house. It took about 4 to 5 months for them to arrive from Japan. In case your wondering, these are the spec sizes:

Fronts: 18x8 +13 offset
Rears: 18x10 -20 offset
