Town use seems to use alot of fuel in these cars. I get 170 - 180 miles town use for every £40. but thats alot of stopping and starting and gear changing

Healthy rev3 turbo here, MPG varies from 14.5 MPG hooning around to 29.75 MPG motorway miles.

Heh, I was actually being incredibly inaccurate! I know the tank is 55l, which is 12.1 imperial gallons. I know that if I drive like a nutter I get ~175 miles to a tank (178 IIRC) and the most I've ever got with a whole tank of fuel at motorway miles (Maidstone to Le Mans) was 360 miles. So I was just doing 175/12.1 or 360/12.1. Not accurate, but it does indicate the variance introduced by having a heavy right foot.

Dude is this my old car?

If so your not running anything standard... As in not standard turbo, cam's, head port... so yes it will use LOT of fuel. Also the lamda was new about 5 month's ago.

The fuel smell will primarily be down to the carbon canister removal. So the car will smell a bit more fuely.

Hope that helps

have to agree,

i'm only running 0.8 bar and my injector cycle is only 50% yet it is still using way more fuel than my old car running 1.2 bar, mods don't just cost a lot to buy, but running them too...

yeah it is, ive had the ECU checked and the lamda sensor is showing an error so it might be something to do with that, but i take your point like about it all being not standard! lol
