turbo help please

Post by crx sam »

hi guys a couple weeks ago i posted some pics of my crx and landrover on here. well at the time i was looking for an mr2 turbo and i have just brought one about a week ago and im very very happy with her the only thing thats wrong with her is the massive pipe that comes off the turbo just befor the induction fillter at the bottom
has split so the car didn't start this morning because i take it the air sensor
cant read the air flow propley so i got some good old bright blue ducked tape and wraped the split up which has worked for now but im after some new hose or samco hose to replace it can you tell me where i can get some
cheers. p.s i will try and get some pics up asap

what rev is the car rev1/2 on rev 3 on? i have a spare rev3 intake pipe.

there is a difference between revs on these rev1/2 has the airflow meter which sounds like your one.

you can get them from toyota they come in 2 halfs so you could just buy the bottom half, will be about £40 quid though.

or put up a wanted post in the wanted section.

post up your rev model and we can sort something for you :thumleft:
