Got a couple of dumb questions followed by a technical one.

Is there a Battery light on tubbys?
Is it supposed to come on with the ignition before cranking?
If the answer to both of these is yes, then.

is the bulb a part of the charging circuit and if it's blown does it stop the alternator from charging?
Thanks
Chad

update.

there is supposed to be a battery warning light.

mine stopped functioning because the black/yellow wire between the alternator and the ECU-IG fuse was broken.

spliced a new wire in and all sorted.

found how to diagnose fault by looking at lots of alternator posts- you should get 12v at all 3 terminals on the alternator plug with ignition on.

2-3 volts on any of these wires is bad.

i checked fuses and bulbs first.
